THE EASY WAY TO PAINT WATERCOLOR FLOWERS with Tasneem Arif
Saturday, August 8, 10AM – 12PM
This beginner-friendly class is designed for students who are curious about watercolor but may have little or no previous experience. Students will learn foundational watercolor techniques including brush control, water-to-paint ratios, color mixing, washes, layering, and creating texture.
The class will be taught step-by-step in a relaxed and encouraging environment. By the end of the session, students will have a better understanding of watercolor fundamentals and will complete a small painting to take home.
All skill levels welcome, ages 16 and up.
Students will provide their own supplies.
Required materials:
- 24 Color Watercolor Set (Kuretake GANSAI TAMBI recommended)
- Long Round Brushes (Sizes 0, 2, 4, and 6; Princeton recommended)
- Watercolor Block
- Palette

ABOUT TASNEEM
Tasneem is a watercolor artist based in Nashville, Tennessee. Her work is inspired by a love of flowers and the belief that beauty has the power to uplift and heal. Using professional watercolor paints on handmade paper crafted from recycled cotton rags, she creates luminous floral paintings filled with color and softness. After years of study, experimentation, and practice, Tasneem continues to share her passion through her artwork and watercolor classes, helping others experience the joy and peace that art can bring.
